Biography
Dr. Boris Pinhasov is an orthodontist and the founder of BP Smiles Orthodontics in Oakland Gardens, Queens. He treats children, teens, and adults, from a young child's first expander to an adult's clear aligners, and patients describe him as thorough, gentle, and quick to explain what he is doing and why.
Dr. Pinhasov earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor dental society. He completed a General Practice Residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and then a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Maimonides Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He and the team speak English, Russian, and Spanish.
